Bipolar disorder is a type of mental illness characterized by extreme mood swings as well as fluctuations in bodily function and energy levels. They are two forms of illness; Depression and mania or hypomania. Depression is when you feel very low and lethargic, during this time one might have overwhelming feelings of worthlessness, which can probably lead to thoughts of harming themselves. Whereas, contrary to that, Mania is when one feels extremely happy for a mere thing, few symptoms of mania are; maniac persons doesn’t like to eat food or get social, get annoyed easily and have sleeping disorder. The person with mild symptoms of it cannot be diagnosed and the person with hyperactivity is termed as hypomania. So in either situation the person who suffers from bipolar disorder is flared up with critical illness.
